Privacy Policy
At StopLord Technologies we value your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our services, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are
StopLord Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“StopLord”, “we”, “us”) is a software development company located at Saltlake, Sector-5, Kolkata 700098, West Bengal, India. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at any time at support@stoplord.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and project enquiries: when you use our contact form we collect your first and last name, email address, the service you are interested in, your subject and message, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, company name and project budget.
- Client relationships: if you become a client, we process business contact details, project requirements and materials you share with us, and billing information needed to invoice you.
- Communications: emails and support requests you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting environment records technical information such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
- Spam and abuse prevention: when you submit the contact form we store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser’s user-agent string, so we can limit automated abuse.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the website (for example pages visited and approximate location). See our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To provide, manage and support the services you engage us for.
- To send service updates, invoices and support communications.
- To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent spam, fraud and misuse.
- To improve our website and services.
- Where you have agreed, to send occasional news about our services. You can opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We process personal data with your consent (for example when you submit the contact form), where it is necessary to take steps you have requested or to perform a contract with you, and where required to comply with the law. We do not use your information for automated decision-making.
4. How we share information
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
- Service providers who help us operate — for example our website hosting provider, email delivery provider, payment gateways and (if enabled) analytics. They may process data only on our instructions and must protect it.
- Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order or to protect our rights, users or the public.
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
5. How long we keep information
- Contact form enquiries are kept for up to 365 days and then deleted automatically, unless they lead to a client relationship.
- Client and billing records are kept for as long as needed to deliver our services and to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting environment.
6. How we protect information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted and authenticated access to administrative systems, hashed passwords, security-conscious software development and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- request access to, or a summary of, the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate information;
- ask us to erase your personal data where we no longer need it;
- withdraw consent you have given, and opt out of marketing messages;
- raise a grievance with us about how your data has been handled.
To exercise these rights, email support@stoplord.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the period required by law.
8. Cookies
Our use of cookies is explained in our Cookie Policy.
9. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites — for example live client projects in our portfolio and social media sharing links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
